Bridgeport VIllage. The Bridgeport Express
is a 40-foot-long trackless passenger train
with cars that accommodate children and
adults. Rides are free and available for rid-
ers of all ages. It runs daily, Friday, Nov. 29,
to Saturday, Dec. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
and from 3 to 5 p.m.
PHOTOS WITH SANTA
— Children are invited to
visit Santa in his new home in Center Court
at Bridgeport Village. In addition to posing
for holiday photos, Santa will give away can-
dy canes. Santa is in daily, Friday, Nov. 29,
through Friday, Dec. 23. Visiting times are
Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. He will also pop in
Tuesday, Dec. 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pets
can take their photos with Santa on Wednes-
days, Dec. 4 and 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.
HOLIDAY DIY FOR TWEENS
— Kids from 8 to 12
years old are invited to learn how to make
all manner of presents for friends and family
during this free program on Wednesday, Dec.
4, from 4 to 5 p.m. This craftacular program
provides the supplies needed to make every-
thing from jewelry to picture frames. Regis-

STARRY NIGHTS AND HOLIDAY LIGHTS
— This an-
nual event will take place at the Tualatin
Commons, 8325 S.W. Nyberg St., on Friday,
Dec. 6, at 6:15 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit
with the annual tree-lighting ceremony, hol-
iday lights and general holiday cheer. There
will be song-filled voices and a countdown
to the lighting of the floating tree — as well
as a visit from Santa!
TUALATIN CHAMBER HOLIDAY AUCTION AND
DINNER
— The Tualatin Chamber of Com-
merce Holiday Auction and Dinner has be-
come the go-to event for early holiday shop-
ping and spreading the season’s cheer. This
year’s party takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 10,
from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Tualatin Country
Club, 9145 S.W. Tualatin Road. $45 includes
dinner and a glass of wine. Go to

FESTIVAL OF MUSIC
— Bridgeport Village will
host local youth choirs and bands through-
out the month of December. The perfor-
mances will take place under the gazebo
and feature choirs from surrounding school
districts and community groups. Interested
groups can call 503-968-8940 for more infor-
mation. Shoppers can check the Bridgeport
Village Facebook page (facebook.com/
BridgeportVillage) for a nightly perfor-
mance schedule.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
— Children are invit-
ed to join Santa for one of two breakfasts in
support of local nonprofit organizations.
Tickets for the event are $10 per person and
include delicious food, entertainment with
Radio Disney, a visit to Santa — and lots of
fun. All ticket sales benefit a charity of the
hosting restaurant’s choice. Seating is limit-

chase tickets for one of the breakfasts,
which will be held Saturdays, Dec. 14 and
Dec. 21, 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., at California Pizza
Kitchen.
“SENTIMENTAL SEASONS”
— The Kid’s Compa-
ny performance troupe will present “Senti-
mental Seasons.” Let this talented young
cast walk you through their favorite holiday
topics: memories, trees, bells, treats and, of
course, presents! Songs include “I’m Get-
ting Nuttin’ for Christmas,” “The Carol of
the Christmas Bells” and “The Eight Nights
of Hanukkah.” All of this is highlighted by
dance, costumes and live music. Tuesday,
Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at Tualatin Public Library,
