Cyndi Wells didn’t know her strange symptoms were caused by a stroke.
Luckily her boss recognized the signs – drooping face, weakened arm,
slurred speech – and acted in time. At the hospital, Cyndi met with a
Providence Stroke Center neurologist and received life-saving medication.
Five days later, she was fully recovered and on the beach in Costa Rica,
shaken but not deterred. “I’m grateful I’m alive, and grateful that my
boss found me and knew what to do,” Cyndi says.
