Strong
partnerships
that make our city
safe
W
hen it comes to successful com-
munities, safety is a key element. A
safe community draws businesses
and economic development, as well
as future residents and homeown-
ers. In Happy Valley, an integrated partnership between
the City, the Happy Valley Police Department and
Clackamas Fire District #1 forms an effective public
safety and emergency response coalition.
Happy Valley police officers,
in partnership with
the
Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office,
are dedicated
to their mission: to promote, deliver and preserve an
assurance of security, safety and quality law enforce-
ment to all Happy Valley citizens. With a
Community
Policing Center
in the heart of town, residents have a
local resource and access to law enforcement for ques-
tions, concerns and reporting.
The
Clackamas Fire District
has four fire stations
within the city limits that allow for a quick response
to any fire or medical emergency. They are vigilant
in monitoring outdoor burning, advising the public of
safe or prohibited burn days, and reinforcing the City’s
ongoing community education efforts regarding the
dangers of illegal fireworks.
“My family and I choose to live within the Happy Valley
community because we feel safe, can actively partici-
pate in City activities, and truly enjoy the community
support. Happy Valley is so much more than just a
place to live; it’s a place to call home. From concerts
in the park to National Night Out, there’s always an
opportunity to enjoy what the City
has to offer.”
