The reserve rises above the 700 foot elevation and offers

panoramic views of sweeping east-side vistas and majestic 
Mount Hood. Visitors, hikers and bird-watchers will 

appreciate the serenity and beauty of trails and facilities 
lanked by a forest of giant Douglas ir, western red cedar 

and hemlock trees, and a beautiful meadow. The 100

decades on Scouters Mountain. The historical old building ll
was closed in 2004 for ire safety issues, and when 
restoration costs proved too costly, it was de-constructed 

prior to the reserve purchase. To honor its Scouting legacy, 
salvaged pieces of the lodge were used in the construction
