SPRING
Spring forward with a clean sweep, starting with the City’s
annual Dumpster Day clean-up event where citizens get
a free and convenient way to drop off recyclables and
usable donations, or safely discard of hazardous materials
and trash in a way that beneits the community and the
environment. Soon after, prepare for the biggest city-
wide garage sale around as the Community Garage Sale
Weekend brings another opportunity to part with excess
household items or ind a few new treasures to bring home!
SUMMER
With Summer’s arrival, community events will really
take off! The City’s signature event, the 4th of July
Family Festival, features a parade, carnival fun, live
entertainment and one of the largest ireworks displays
countywide. Hundreds of city residents and visitors
alike take part in the Family Float & Bicycle Parade that
