Everything is cute at Bar Vivant,
but the quail eggs stand out for
being extra adorable. The diminu-
tive soft-boiled eggs are wrapped
in a tissue of ham and rolled in sesa-
me seeds and the combination —
rich yolk, popping seeds, salty pork
— is a thumbnail sketch of satisfac-
tion that leaves you wanting more.
