Music Mondays
Family-friendly event features free concerts each Monday evening at the
Center for the Arts Plaza, 401 N.E. Second St. in downtown Gresham. Blankets,
lawn chairs and picnics are welcome. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. unless
otherwise noted.
• July 29 — Picante, Jazz sounds
• Aug. 5 — Shannon Tower Band, original rock with vocals
• Aug. 12 — Francis Doo, Hawaiian sounds and dance
Starts at 6 p.m. with Hawaiian fun for kids
• Aug. 19 — Rusty Road, bluegrass and oldie standards

Movies in the Park
Presented by Portland Parks and Recreation. Bring chairs, blankets and snacks
for an evening of family entertainment. Arrive by 6:30 p.m. for pre-movie live music
and free popcorn. Movies begin at dusk.

Northeast 154th Avenue and Couch Court, Portland.
• Friday, Aug. 9 —“The Avengers,” at Parklane Park,

Jazz on the Plaza
All-day event features entertainment by youth jazz ensembles, regional,
world-class jazz musicians and local food vendors.
