This 10K/5K run/walk is hosted by the
Beaverton Rotary Club. The 10K route goes
from Cedar Hills Crossing to the Tualatin
Hills Nature
Park. The
5K includes
runners and
fast walkers.

ART ON BROADWAY
July’s featured showcase is “Travels,”
featuring collage work by Susan Schenk
of Wilsonville and wooden sculpture
by Portland’s Peggy Harkins. Donna
Sanson describes Schenk’s pieces as
“very creative and fun.” Harkins’ flying
carpet, carpet bag, patterned suitcases and
purses are sculpted fromwood. Sanson
says they’re “spectacular.” The show
runs through Aug. 3. Art on Broadway
is located at 12570 S.W. Broadway St.

BEAVERTON LAST TUESDAY
There’s hardly a better way to enjoy a
summer evening than to attend Beaverton
Last Tuesday, a celebration of music,
art and food. This month, Five Guys
Named Moe will entertain you with
music from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. This
is a dance and show band featuring a
12-piece horn-driven musical ensemble.
Last Tuesday also features Painted Sky
Northstar Dance (Native American
dance). Beaverton Last Tuesday is
located in the Public Plaza at The Round.
