work menu items, including Buffalo wings,
thick-cut onion rings, jalapeno poppers and

Beaverton, you’ll find some delicious late-

Owner NickCortese describes his restaurant
as, “a comfortable place to get some good
food and good service.”
They serve Italian dishes, including pizza
and a variety of pastas. At Giovanni’s, as
dinner hour approaches, many customers
prefer take-out.
“People like to stop and pick stuff up on
their way home fromwork,” Cortese said.
But if you prefer to stop in and satisfy your
tummy before heading home, there are a
variety of tasty choices.
“A family-size salad (two people can share)
is a great light thing to eat,” Cortese said.
Appetizers include mozzarella sticks, garlic
cheese bread, antipasto (cheese, ham, salami,
pepperoni and vegetables) and homemade
meatballs with meat sauce.
Giovanni’s Special Salad is a crowd
favorite. This veggie treat has mixed lettuce,
tomato, onion, olive and mushroom. It
comes with lip-smacking homemade Italian
