recently the addition of
Honda engines, parts and service
to the products and services al-
ready offered.
The full line of Honda small en-

parts and service. Both GX and GC
engines are in stock.
“This fills a hole we have had
when farmers come in looking to re-
place an irrigation system engine or
some other system that requires a
strong and reliable engine,” said
Shawn Clark, service and parts man-
ager.
“Having Honda engines to sell and
becoming a Honda service center
made a lot of sense to us,” said Steve
Roy, founder and president of Valley
View Tractor & Equipment. “Many
of our customers are farm operations
that depend on small engines to
power important aspects of their
businesses.”
The company is a dealer of many
types and brands of farm and land-
scape equipment.
It leads with Mahindra Tractors
that have earned 98-percent cus-

Since that time he became a certified
diesel mechanic and worked for sev-
eral companies, gaining experience,
and then created Valley View Tractor
& Equipment in 2002, building a
strong team of employees since then.
The company continues to steadily
grow its market share.

First Federal: Supporting our communities
Valley View Tractor & Equipment now a Honda engine and parts dealer and warranty service center
The full line of Honda small engines, as well as parts and
service, are now available at Valley View Tractor and
Equipment Inc. in Newberg.
“Having Honda engines to sell and becom-
ing a Honda service center made a lot of
sense to us. Many of our customers are
farm operations that depend on small en-
gines to power important aspects of their
businesses.”
F
irst Federal was founded in
1922 to provide a secure, local-
ly-owned financial institution
for Yamhill County residents ... a place
to build savings and borrow money to
purchase a home. This initial philoso-
phy continues to guide and strengthen
our dedication to our customers and
our community. When you bank with
us, your money is invested here and
stays here, working for and giving
back to our community.
In 1999, First Federal established a
formal community giving program,
and First Federal customers, still today,
help direct donations to Yamhill Coun-
ty nonprofits through their votes or
volunteerism during our customer bal-
lot and community rewards programs.
First Federal also awards scholarships
at each of the Yamhill County public
high schools and works in partnership
with Linfield College to fund commu-
nity internships to help Yamhill County
nonprofits.
First Federal recognizes the need for
financial literacy and has teamed with
Yamhill County high schools and Ever-
Fi to provide a new media learning
platform to students to bring complex
financial concepts to life for today’s
digital generation.
Honored five years in a row with a
corporate philanthropy award from the
Portland Business Journal and nation-
ally recognized with a Community
Bank Award by the American Banker’s
Association, President and CEO Mar-
shall “Rocky” Wade reinforces the
bank’s community spirit. “First Federal
has a deep and longstanding commit-
ment to Yamhill County, the people
who live here, and the many nonprofit
organizations who serve our communi-
ties.”
