It was the anatomist, Andre Vesalius , who revolutionized knowledge of the interior of the human body and who is considered the founder of scientific anatomy.

Bernard Albinus demonstrated the totality of the biological system such as the brain in connection with the meninges and the nerves, which al-lowed in turn a better understanding of how the organs function.
