Agriculture-related tourism is coming into
its own, winery tours, corn mazes, petting
zoos, U-pick farm tours, Saturday markets—
but all share the common component of
food. It can provide a way to reconnect
with the simpler things in life and a way to
understand the process of how food gets
from the farm to your plate more clearly.
Right in your own back yard these
businesses are opening their doors so
people can see how a product is made, taste
it and actually buy the product on site.
