Happy Valley/Oak Grove
The North Clackamas Parks and
Recreation District provides recre-
ational opportunities for people of all
ages and stages in Milwaukie, serving
infants through seniors. Thirty-two
square miles and more than 60 parks
and open spaces strong, the recre-
ation district is one of the area’s great-
est attributes.
Its boundaries are defined by the
Clackamas River on the south, the
Willamette River on the west,
Multnomah County line on the north
and the Urban Growth Boundary on
the east.

Alma Myra Park

Located in Milwaukie on Thiessen
Road between Tamarack Way and
Topaz Avenue.
Amenities: picnic tables and a chil-
dren’s play area.
Altamont Park

Aquatic Park

One of the district’s main attractions,
the North Clackamas Aquatic Park
features a hot tub, lap pool, dive well,
sand volleyball, sun deck, snack bar
and water slides. Admission and swim
times vary throughout the week and
year, so be sure to call ahead for
