—There
will be parades, princesses,
fireworks and races, not to
mention one huge carnival, at
this year’s Rose Festival. The
theme is “Portland’s Party”
and the fun lasts through
June 16, with the Grand Floral

FACTORY

buy a freshly made ice cream
cone and learn about how it all
came to be at the Tillamook
Cheese Factory, located just
north of Tillamook on Highway
101. Self-guided tours offer tons
of information about the history of the area
and the gift shop has cute and kitschy mer-

BULLWINKLE’S
— Fun is in the name at
Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center in Wilson-
ville. Have your pick of any of its at-
tractions, including mini golf, an ar-
cade, Go Karts, batting cages and
bumper boats. The newest feature at
the fun center is a two-way zipline
that takes thrill seekers on an 800-foot
ride forward and back at up to 25
mph. Bullwinkle’s is located at 29111
