THE OREGON GARDEN
— It’s like 20
gardens in one. The Oregon Garden in
Silverton gives visitors a chance to wan-
der through and enjoy diverse gardens
dedicated to water, the senses, conifers,
pet-friendly plants and roses. Summer
hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admis-
sion is $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, $8
for students (12-17) and $5 for children (5-11). For

CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE
— Forest
Grove is home to a spectacular display of
antique, classic, sport, race and collector
cars each summer. The Concours
d’Elegance will be Sunday, July 21 at Pa-
cific University, 2043 College Way. Pre-
sented by the Rotary Club of Forest
Grove, proceeds from the event help fun
scholarships and local charity projects.

The Tigard American Legion Post #158
presents the Keynote Speaker,
Mr. Marland Henderson, President of the Tigard City Council.
The national anthem will be sung by Tigard High student, Jessica Skinner.
This annual event includes many veterans, Avenue of Flags
and the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Pipe Band.
The Legion will also present the American Legion Riders
doing a drive through representing the "Missing Man Formation.”
