ROOT FOR THE THORNS
— The
Portland Thorns’ inaugural season
kicked off in March and the team will
keep the ball rolling through August.
There are more than a half dozen
home games remaining at Jeld-Wen
Field, so you have plenty of chances to
cheer on your hometown women’s soc-

ZOO
—The Oregon Zoo has 64 acres
with more than 1,000 animals living, play-
ing and lounging in natural landscapes.
Located at 4002 S.W. Canyon Road, the
zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during
the summer. Admission is $10.50 for
adults; $7.50 for children ages 3 to 11. For

YOGA FOR KIDS
— Give your little one
the gift of quiet time to reflect, concen-
trate and breathe with yoga. Imagine Yo-
ga in Lake Oswego offers a fun-filled yo-
ga class for kids that focuses
on breathing, joy, gratitude
and imagination. Kids will
practice concentration while
learning more than 40 yoga
poses. For kids ages 2 to 12.

rates music, games and props to help
young ones improve strength, flexibility
and coordination. There are classes for
different age groups as well as family

PORTLAND CENTER STAGE
— Get ready for romance and time travel with Portland Center Stage’s production of
“Somewhere in Time.” Much like the 1980 film, the play is a romance about a young playwright that meets an old woman
whose appearance leads him on a journey through time and history. The show runs June 5-30 at the Gerding Theater at
the Armory, 128 N.W. 11th Ave. Tickets start at $39, with discounts available for people younger than 25. Rush tickets are

ADVENTURE PARK
Frolic in a forest play-
ground at Tree to Tree
Adventure Park in Gas-
ton on Hagg Lake. Traverse platforms in
a sky-high obstacle course full of wob-
bly bridges, tight ropes, balance beams
